This plan, prepared in close collaboration with our client and community partner, the Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP), is the recipient of several local and national awards. The plan received the following awards: 2005 American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) award for the best studio project, the 2004 Upstate New York Chapter of the American Planning Association award for the best studio project, and the 2003 Western New York Section APA award for the best studio project.  Several elements of the plan have since been implemented by MAP on Buffalo’s West Side.
