Dr. Samina Raja to give keynote address at Mississippi State University on January 13th, 2017

Dr. Samina Raja, Principle Investigator of the Food Systems Planning and Healthy Communities Lab, will be giving a keynote address on January 13, 2017 at 12pm at Mississippi State University. Titled ‘Building Food Systems Policy From the Ground Up’, the lecture will discuss Dr. Raja’s research on the use of policy and planning to promote health and food equity.

The address is part of the Interdisciplinary Lecture Series on Race in America and is co-sponsored by the Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute for the Elimination of Health Disparities, Local Food Systems Research Interest Group, and the Department of Sociology. Visit this website for more information.
