William Gonzalez is a fourth-year undergraduate history student at the University at Buffalo. He is pursuing a career in library work and is looking to get into graduate school for a Masters Degree in Information and Library Sciences. As an immigrant and a student of history, William seeks to understand how historical politics, economics, and cultures can affect the livelihoods of modern-day communities. In particular, he is looking into the effectiveness and failures of programs addressing food inequities among communities of color. Other than his academic focus, William likes to read and cook during his free time.
