Alex Judelsohn

Alex Judelsohn is a doctoral student in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Michigan. Her research interests include how the built environment impacts health, particularly for immigrant and refugee populations. 

Alex holds a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo. Prior to her doctoral studies, Alex worked as a Research Associate at the Food Lab where she collaborated with colleagues across disciplines through the Community for Global Health Equity. During her time in the Food Lab she co-authored a paper on how resettled refugees navigate new food environments. In addition to projects in Western New York, Alex collaborated with colleagues in Kashmir on research as to how farmers are adapting their practices in the face of climate change.  She can be contacted at alexjud@umich.edu.
